Upon the year 2000 is involved in several groups as "The orchestra NG", "Solsticio" and several more groups as bassist and vocal support (chorus) where experience becomes a little wider in genera such as salsa music and social.

Then, in late 2001, integrating the gurpo "ODEON" in which part as bassist and vocalist, and with the experience that he had left his previous gupos. In this way, the time as vocalist of the group weighs enough on his experience as a singer, forging a more defined and giving the tone and nuances that kept so far.

At the end of 2002 participates in the "Festival of Singing" in the framework of the "Festival of Youth" in the municipality of Girardota, where he debuted as a solo singer and won second place among 120 participants.

Born on January 16, 1985 and the son of Enrique Cañas Diego Castrillon and Rosa Angelica Gomez Garcia, the second of three brothers, Juan Camilo Gomez Canas (Kmilo), has lived a lifetime in Girardota (Antioquia, Colombia), a municipality that is Located 30 minutes from the city of Medellin.

He began his studies in the current primary school Emiliano García, then continued with their secondary school (until ninth grade) in the same institution. Later, he went on to complete high school by an average technical college in the Atanasio Girardot, where he graduated in 2001 specializing in systems and computer science.

Later he began studying at the University of Antioquia pure physics, but after having spent a systems engineering (career that really wanted to study) in the national university, retires and starts in the latter to study the career he wanted. It currently serves as a student at the university and the national party that bears his life as a musician of the band's symphonic Girardota in town, playing tenor saxophone.

Arguably his life has been linked to music, art and singing. This is illustrated with the intense artistic activity, which has become a party in his lifetime municipality.
